Scatology 101, via Zoom

Tuesday, January 12, 2021, 6:00pm to 7:30pm
In this on-line class we will compare and contrast scats of our indigenous mammals (plus a few birds). Although all scat may superficially appear identical, there are differences that we can learn to identify. Some examples: Mouse scat vs. Bat scat; Chipmunk scat vs. Red Squirrel scat vs. Gray Squirrel scat; Fox scat vs. Northeastern Coyote scat; Beaver scat vs. Muskrat scat; young Moose vs. Adult Whitetailed Deer scat; and more.
This program will utilize the on-line platform, Zoom. We will provide all the information you will need to join the Zoom session. A computer with internet access will be required, but a computer camera is not necessary. For those who have not used Zoom, rest assured, it is free and simple to use.
Fee: $20 - you may have more than one person at your location.
Participants must register no later than 24 hours before the session so that we can get the login information to you.
