This on-line program will be the third of a four-part series on the fascinating topic of animal track patterns. The four sessions may be taken in succession, or individually.

|
This session will focus primarily on bounds, lopes, and gallops, and will include: how are bounds, lopes, and gallops similar, and how are they different?; what animals do which?; what is transverse vs. rotary?; what are full bounds and what are half bounds?; how are mustelid family (weasel, marten, fisher, and otter) bounds different from those of other animals?; how do we measure these patterns? There will be ample time for questions and answers, and participants will have access to a blog for further questions after the course is over; questions over email will also be invited if blogging does not appeal to you.
