Great Places: The Elders Grove

Sunday, October 27, 2019, 10am to 1pm

Join the cofounder and Executive Director of the Eastern Native Tree Society (ENTS), as he takes us on another memorable journey in the Great Places series. Experience the enthralling eloquence of old-growth evangelist and forest ecology expert Bob Leverett as he entertains, enraptures, and enlightens in this exceptional mountain environment. As in all the programs in the Great Places series, this is not only a trip through an area of exquisite beauty, but also an opportunity to learn about the natural environment and human history and culture - and of course, there are the trees!

with Bob Leverett

Location: The village of Zoar, between Charlemont and Rowe, Massachusetts, in the scenic Berkshire Mountains

With the wild upper reaches of the Deerfield River below, and the awe-inspiring Negus Mountain beyond, this grove of trees evokes a sacred feel that you will long remember.
