Animal Feet - A Detailed Study of Actual Specimens via Zoom

Tuesday, December 15, 2020, 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Understanding the physical features of animal feet will help you better decipher tracks in the field. This on-line class will be a study of the feet of mammals found in New England. Over the past twenty years we have amassed an extensive collection of animal feet (primarily road-killed specimens acquired with our salvage permit). Utilizing these specimens, we will inspect salient features and come to understand subtleties that distinguish similar-looking species.
This program will utilize the on-line platform, Zoom. We will provide all the information you will need to join the Zoom session. A computer with internet access will be required, but a computer camera is not necessary. For those who have not used Zoom, rest assured, it is free and simple to use.
Fee: $20 - you may have more than one person at your location.
Participants must register no later than 24 hours before the session so that we can get the login information to you.
