Track Patterns Part 1 via Zoom

Tuesday, November 17, 2020, 6:00pm to 7:30pm
This on-line program will be the first of a four-part series on the fascinating topic of animal track patterns. The four sessions may be taken in succession, or individually.
This session will focus primarily on walks and trots, and will include: what is a walk, what is a pace, what is a trot?; definitions of trail widths and strides; taking measurements of walks and trots; understeps, direct registers, and oversteps; side trots and straddle trots; who walks, who trots? There will be ample time for questions and answers, and participants will have access to a blog for further questions after the course is over; questions over email will also be invited if blogging does not appeal to you.
This program will utilize the on-line platform, Zoom. We will provide all the information you will need to join the Zoom session. A computer with internet access will be required, but a computer camera is not necessary. For those who have not used Zoom, rest assured, it is free and simple to use.
Fee: $20 per session - you may have more than one person at your location.
Participants must register no later than 24 hours before the session so that we can get the login information to you.
